What?!...It hasn't been THAT long...

Ok, I admit it, It has been WAY too long since I've updated this blog. In fact, I'm pretty sure that all 2 of my followers have given up on me long ago. However, I'm determined to not give up....(even as I type that, I want to give up). SO the next several posts aren't going to be chronological but thematical...(is that even a word? and if so, am I using it correctly? don't answer that) so that I will not become overwhelmed.

So let's just jump in with 4th of July. Here we go. It was Evie's first Independence day, so of course we did everything! We had a big breakfast, went to a parade, threw poppers, had a big barbeque, attended the Happy Hollow play, then oohed and ahhed at the community fireworks.....um ya, so ok, so that was a big lie. That's just what I wanted to do. Instead, I think we caught up on laundry and sat around the house all day. We did, however, grill burgers and hotdogs and Evie dozed while we listened to the neighbors set off firecrackers. Sounds idyllic, doesn't it?

I did manage to dress Evie up in her 4th of July dress (Thanks, Peggy Howe!) and take pictures.
