four-months-old

I cannot believe that my little Evie is four-months-old. It has been so much fun to watch her grow and learn new skills so quickly...and man has she grown! At her four month well check, Evelyn weighed 17 lbs and was 26 inches long. It happens so quickly. I get sad to see her grow out of my favorite outfits to put her in, but get excited to put her in new outfits that she has grown into. Chris and I are so blessed to have this cute, little bundle in our home! We love you Evie girl.

What to remember about Evelyn at four months... She often has one, cute, little curl at the top of her head AND She loves to suck on her fingers.

She is getting so close to rolling over. She loves to turn onto her side and get her legs and hips over, but she just can't get her fingers out of her mouth long enough to get that torso over as well...soon, very soon!

We have been bundling up Evie due to the very cold weather...I promise...it's been COLD.

She is becoming more aware of Lucy, our dog. She is starting to follow her around the room with her eyes. It's so cute!

Evie always seems to have an eye infection. Although, thankfully it's starting to be less frequent.

Ta Da! Evie is grabbing her toes. It's one of her favorite things to do while in her bouncer or on the floor.

We've been putting her in the bumbo, which she doesn't love...yet. Sometimes we can prop her up into a sitting position and she will stay there for several seconds...but again, she usually isn't so happy about it.

Evie also REALLY loves discovering all the sounds she can make with her voice. She can coo and is beginning to babble, but she most often likes to squeel, screech, scream etc...especially right before naptime or bedtime or when she feels she has been left alone for far too long (a minute or so...). She is definitely a social butterfly.
