We purchased this dress at the carnival. Doesn't she look so festive and fancy?
Things to remember about Evelyn at five-months-old.*Ta Da! Evelyn is rolling over from her back to her tummy. She is still learning how to roll-over from her tummy onto her back. She has done it accidentally a few times BUT isn't quite sure how to go about it purposefully. She looks like a little airplane on her tummy (arms straight out and head and feet elevated...so cute!
*Evelyn is sitting up on her own (for brief moments). See below.
*Evelyn is eating rice cereal and LOVING it! She practically dive bombs the spoon when we feed it to her. *She is not only interested in Lucy, our dog, but she reaches for her and tries to touch her ALL the time. Lucy has been so good to sit there without fussing, even when Evie is pinching part of her body.
*Evie not only reaches for Lucy but reaches for her toys. She loves to grab, shake, and put toys in her mouth.
*She has the MOST adorable belly laugh.
* Our little Evelyn can babble up a storm. I love to have "conversations" with her and hear that cute little voice.
We just love our little Evie Jean. She has been so much fun. We have way more videos than pictures this month. I'll probably post some as soon as I figure out how to go about that.

Oh, so cute!! Grandma Bowser would have loved to see Evie in this dress. She bought a 'Fiesta Dress' for me when I was a little girl and told me stories of how much she enjoyed wearing them when she was a teenager. Mine had lots of layers and was a great 'twirling' dress. A family tradition continues. LOL I also love the 5 month summation.. adorable!
I love the dress too! Now just teach her to square dance and she'll be all set. =) She is growing up to be such a sweetie!
